About: 

Dane Zook was born in Augusta in 1948 and lived there until his graduation in 1966. He pursued a degree in accounting from a business school and began his professional career as an accountant. His career path soon led him to the company's sales force, showcasing his versatility and adaptability in the business world.

Embodying the traditional American dream, Dane fell in love, got married, and started a family. Forty-five years ago, he moved to Fall Creek, where he and his wife raised their four sons. During his time in Fall Creek, Dane became an integral part of the community, serving on various committees and councils. His dedication to community service culminated in his election as a Village Board Trustee in 2016, where he served for two terms. Dane's commitment to his community was evident through his active participation in outside meetings and seminars, ensuring he was well-informed to serve effectively.

Dane's leadership extended to environmental projects, such as leading the Lake District project and participating in the Eau Claire River Watershed Coalition and the Ag Resource committee. His passion for community service and environmental stewardship. Dane has also contributed to the Landfill Committee, WCWRPC, and chaired the Committee on Finance & Budget with diligent work on several budgets. 

Dane enjoys spending time with his family and engaging in various activities with them. He thrives on staying busy and embraces new challenges, continually seeking opportunities to contribute to his community and beyond.

Supervisor Zook has been on the County Board since 2020.
