About:

Supervisor Nancy Coffey is the Chair of the Eau Claire County Board of Supervisors. Nancy is a dedicated and active resident of District 10, where she has lived with her husband for nearly 40 years and raised three children. Her commitment to the community is evident through her volunteer work with the JONAH Environmental Task Force, Feed My People Food Bank, and Market Match at the Downtown Farmers Market.

Nancy began her career as a public-school teacher and later transitioned to a long-term role at Eau Claire County Extension in community development. Over her 25-year career at Extension, she coordinated the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Education Program, managing budgets and a staff of four. As the Regional SNAP Education Supervisor, she supported county coordinators in developing programs, budgets, and measurable outcomes, ensuring successful program implementation within constrained budgets.

Her extensive experience at Extension provided Nancy with valuable insights into county government operations, budgeting skills, and the privilege of working with diverse community members. She has served as an Eau Claire County Board Supervisor for six years, including terms as the chair of both the Board and the Committee on Administration.

Supervisor Coffey has served on the Eau Claire County Board of Supervisors since 2018.
